Today, I am writing on a topic close to my heart. I have often heard women worrying about workplace practices, work culture and policies when they enter a new job. This is one of the major concerns with my women colleagues. So, today I am writing about Publicis Sapient Gurgaon work culture specific to women and in general.
For current women employees
If you have ever applied for
a job at Publicis Sapient, you will realize interviewers mention gender
inclusivity and workplace diversity proudly. Work culture, gender agonistic
work practices and career growth are the strong points of Publicis
Sapient.
In my project, we have a
50-50 gender ratio of people. The level of professionalism and concern shown
for all people is the same. All the stereotypes depicted in movies and TV serials
are false in the real world. Here, women are knowledgeable. Hence, they get
equal treatment and opportunities. Team parties, training and career growth
activities are similar and open for all, as per their career stages.
You can also read Sapient Global Markets Bangalore feedback to know about the previous work culture in
Bangalore office. I received positive reviews from my seniors; you may get the
same.
For women returnees
Spring women program for
women returnees was a great initiative where women techies could re-enter the
workplace. Publicis Sapient had organized this campaign by brainstorming on women’s
problems and their possible needs. Anyone having at least one year of previous
work experience and a minimum of 1-year career gap can apply through this
initiative. I referred 3 of my friends, out of which one person has joined the
organization.
My colleague who joined
through the Spring initiative was quite happy with the whole process. She got
mentors, technical training, handholding in the initial months and recognition
for taking the first step in her professional journey.
